Witnessing Miracles

Witness to  thousands of births n more

A jaundiced, prejudiced eye to the fore

Would not be out of place, you’d think

But there’s the miracle again n I blink!

The tender smile, the gentle touch, the wonder struck voice

As a Baby is born, so is a mother, a miracle born of choice!

I never tire of being a Witness to this moment in time

As a tiny bundle of hope n joy makes a mothers heart chime

In unison with the millions of mothers before her

And brings forth an indescribable emotion in her!

Her life will never be the same again,          She will never be the same ever again…

As  a part of her being, a part of her heart,  Will ever walk beside her, but a tad apart!

❤ ❤

Hi, Aruna! I don’t know if I’ve missed your posts, but don’t remember seeing one for some time. Good one this. A child indeed feels like a miracle.

Arun….more like twang a chord indeed!
we are but putty in those starfish palms !
I remember a line in an old song …..
“Every time I hear a newborn baby cry..
    or touch a leaf..
    or see the sky..
    Then I know why…I believe”
Keep writing. …I will keep reading…

You are blessed to be witness to new lives … the child & the mother and they are blessed to have such a caring soul beside them in their birth
