Literate For A Day – Thanx, Cesar and Cleo

LITERATE FOR A DAY Someone or something you can’t communicate with through writing (a baby, a pet, an object) can understand every single word you write today, for one day only. What do you tell them?

My dear Cesar N Cleo

My day starts with you

Every morning, as on my bed I lie

You come up to say  hello n hi.

Be it even on a lazy Sunday morning

It  starts with your woofy greeting!

And downstairs I am back

To fix your morning snack!

Both say a goofy “bye” looking at the floor

As to work I rush through that open door

There you are exuberantly saying ” welcome”

When a tired me finds her way back home.

The happy faces, the wagging tails

Tell their own story and it never fails

To make me gladly smile,

Making life feel worthwhile.

Two cuddly bundles of fur

Two little bundles of joy

My shadows, you both have been

Making me feel like a regal queen!

Our reason for so much joy n cheer

I am sure glad you guys are here!

You may not read and write but there is a priceless gift

Yes the tiny Paw Prints on my heart you both have left!wpid-img-20140608-wa0015.jpg
