Sugar or spice?

Success after failure is extra sweet,

Failure after success is tough to greet

Having tasted both I’m poised to state

Too much spice is never good to eat

Learning curves in Surgery or in life

Can cause stress and a lot of strife

*****

So if the spice of failure there must be

May it be one that I can clearly see

And thus  learn and set things right

Before I am too rigid and too old to fight!

******

Youth could handle sugar, spice and more

Of my life they have always made the core .

The ingredients of my years twilight

I pray they blend just so well and right

Not too sweet and not too spicy

May they be just nice and easy!

Amen…..

The Spice of Success: If “failure is the condiment that gives success its flavor” (Truman Capote), how spicy do you like your success stories?

I agree. I have lived enough “sugar and spice” and am ready to settle down into a blend of a mellow cup of herbal tea.

May you keep on savoring the right blend of sugar and spice in your life.I had also registered for NaBloPoMo a week ago but couldn’t get time to create a menu. Blogging 201 and photography 101 soaked up my entire energy….lol. Though I tagged my posts and added the category as well as a badge, adding a new page seems a good idea.

Thanks for all the good words, Rashmi. I did not know you had registered with NaBloPoMo. I have not yet mastered the art of copyrighting the images. maybe I should have signed up for Photography 101. Anyways there’s always a next time !😊😊 you’re doing just great on WordPress …keep it up…

Oh, it was closed on 3rd Nov. Anyway Dp keeps on running multiple events at the same time for bloggers to join any time they want.
We can check all the registered blogs and read their posts on BlogHer. My blog automatically came on BlogHer’s NaBloPoMo blog roll once I filled up the form. The list is loooong ! I created my own menu yesterday only after seeing yours. 🙂
