Astraeans – Know your Star

Custom Zodiac: You’re tasked with creating a brand new astrological sign for the people born around your birthday — based solely on yourself. What would your new sign be, and how would you describe those who share it?

I would call the new sign ” Astraea” The Greek goddess or the Star Maiden the goddess of Justice. The symbol would be a Shining Star.

Qualities : A little naive, believing in idealistic situations to the point of expecting too much, Astraeans aspire for perfection in themselves as well as in others. Ever willing to do things for the people they love and like, they rejoice in doing this. Qualities like being communicative and systematic endear them to people whereas qualities of being analytical and even judgmental or argumentative make them unpopular among some.

Astraeans As Friends:  They love being a friend and involve themselves in their friends lives as if it were their own. They take time to like people  and make friends but once made, they form deep and meaningful relationships that often last for a lifetime. Fun to be with if they are in the mood and boisterous at times, but critical and frank nature can cause hurt.

Astraeans In Love:  Deeply passionate about a lot of things including love. Still waters run deep, very deep. However  they are insecure about their looks and external appearance and often lack in self esteem. Insecurity can make them possessive. A true romantic at heart, but exude a calm and cool exterior.

Marriage and Parenting: For Astraeans, marriage is for a lifetime. A small glitch though –  Loves being appreciated and applauded  for these efforts and makes the hurt evident when it is not forthcoming!! Frankness to the point of bluntness sometimes negates all the efforts put in.  LOL!

Career  Choices: Loves taking care of people and so medicine and teaching are good professions for Astraeans . Nothing gives them more happiness and satisfaction than having their efforts rewarded in reducing  suffering and pain.

With an intense desire to communicate and help and analyze emotions, situations and people they are often “agony aunts”  to their friends and family.  So they may make good counselors.

Perhaps the ability to criticize can be put to good use in reviewing products or media as a critic!!
