Tread Softly!

Prompt: Handle with care

How are you at receiving criticism? Do you prefer that others treat you with kid gloves, or go for brutal honesty?

criticize-quotes

Addition or attrition?

Is that the question ?

Or how much can I take?

Be it looks or a cake I bake?

Truth to tell  -“hyper critical”- that’s me!

So prepared to take some I must also be…

There’s another side the “hypersensitive me”

Who’s  protection is not all that its made to be..

But most of my faults jump out

To my mind , they seem to shout!

So whether  I am down n out,

Or perky, happy,  up and about,

I know my thorns , I know my warts,

Even better than other friendly hearts..

So when you hand me my unseemly faults

You are saying, what to me, already daunts!

So tread softly, my dear dear friend,

There’s more than one toe to tread

Tell me the truth, tell me what I dread

Just remember, I’m ur dear dear friend! 🙂

“Be honest, just not brutally honest”, excellent way of saying the true feeling, Criticism, article was cleverly picturized and liked the idea behind it, when to say it, who is eligible to say to who, what extent to be taken, and how to plead further to help ourselves from the wrong…thanks for the post 🙂
